AH175 Hall Effect Sensor
The AH175 is a digital Hall-effect switch. It detects magnetic fields and changes its output state based on the presence of a south magnetic pole.
Features
- Operating Voltage: 3.8V to 24V
- Output Type: Open Collector (NPN)
- Magnetic Polarity: South Pole Activation
- Package: TO-92 or SOT-23
- Fast Response Time
Pin Configuration (TO-92)
- Vcc (Power Supply)
- GND (Ground)
- OUT (Digital Output)
Applications
- Magnetic door switch
- Speed detection (RPM)
- Magnetic position sensing
- Embedded systems
Working Principle
When a south magnetic pole is close to the sensor, the output goes LOW. When the magnetic field is removed, the output returns to HIGH (with a pull-up resistor connected).
